04-13-18 -- 6L Ranch Site
We walked past the 6L gate and past the Newspaper Rock for another 1 - 1.5 miles. We encountered an overturned truck, then finally the actual Ranch site. It was an amazingly open area surrounded by a wire fence - the fence was above a stone wall that encompassed the area. We saw wooden and stone structures from the old Ranch. The area was lush and green - a big contrast to the dry desert surrounding it. The round trip was about 10 miles.
